| Comments: This was the Deep dive for my AOW. It was also the first time I dove the Duane. This was a really cool dive that I'm looking forward to doing again. Had a bit of trouble with the exposure on my photos, but practice and a strobe will fix that! |

| Date: | Jul 29 2002 |
| Depth: | 30' |
| Visibility: | 100' |

| Comments: This was a nice easy wreck dive. There is not a lot of the structure left of it, but enough to see that it was a ship. Of course, I didn't get any pictures of the structure. |

| Date: | Jun 30 2002 |
| Depth: | 35' |

|
| 9. Spiegel Grove, Key Largo |
| Date: | Jun 30 2002 |
| Depth: | 95' |
| Visibility: | 100' |
| Buddy: | Jen Galvin |
| Comments: At the end of the previous day, Steve asked Jen if she though she was ready to do a little more challenging a dive. She was, and so our first dive on Sunday was the newly sunk Spiegel Grove. All I can say is WOW. This dive was fantastic. We were at depth for about 35 minutes and we didn't see a fraction of the wreck. We got really lucky in that we started our dive just when most of the morning dives were finishing, so the site was not crowded at all. |

| Date: | Jun 29 2002 |
| Depth: | 45' |
| Visibility: | 30' |

| Date: | Jun 29 2002 |
| Depth: | 30' |

| Date: | Jun 29 2002 |
| Depth: | 30' |
| Visibility: | 70' |
| Buddy: | Jen Galvin |
| Comments: This was our first dive of the weekend with Steve and Gabriel. We also met Lazaro (a common visitor to the online diving forums) and his girlfriend. This was a nice relaxing dive to start the weekend. As soon as we got in the water, a 5' baby spotted eagle ray swam by! |

| 14. Clearwater Reef, Gulf of Mexico, Clearwater |
| Date: | May 27 2002 |
| Depth: | 45' |
| Visibility: | 15' |
| Buddy: | Jen Galvin |
| Comments: This was the best dive that I've done in Clearwater so far. It is an articial reef made of concrete pilings, culverts and large tires. It makes for a very interesting landscape that is grown over with lots of different sponges. |
