On May 15th, 2004, we popped a bottle of champagne, took off our shoes, and strolled down the aisle! That's not the order you normally do it in is it?!? Even though (or perhaps because of) we did a few things a little untraditionally, everything turned out fabulous. Jen was beautifull, the weather was excellent, and the ceremony and reception went perfectly. It was great to see both of our families mingling and enjoying themselves!

We decided that since so much of our lives are centered around diving and the beach, that our wedding should be too. We found a small little hotel on Reddington Beach, FL that our entire family rented out. That's right, the entire hotel was only wedding guests! The ceremony was done by Jen's uncle just before sunset on the beach. Afterwards, the reception was held on hotel sundeck and dancing was under a tent we set up. It was a great mix of traditional and untraditional.ideas. And yes, we were really barefoot!
